Humble Warrior Yoga with Heather Guess

I believe life is a journey of self-discovery & growth,
I believe in loving big and chasing after the life we are called to live.
I believe in fighting to find peace with who we are as we embrace who God has created us to be.
I believe that we are all uniquely made and that health is holistic - that we are all comprised of mind, body & spirit and that the body is designed with the capacity and ability to heal itself . . . just as our Maker intended.
Through my own journey of struggle, surrender, acceptance and victory, I have found that the practice of yoga not only helps me fulfill my purpose, but also offers an outlet for me to lead others in their journey. I deeply desire to see others stop living in the past or worrying about tomorrow by staying in the present. The practice of Yoga helps us do all of this: to become grounded in the truth of who we are, and who we are created to be, while keeping us at peace and mindful of the moment in which we find ourselves.
Through my own journey with marriage, parenting, aging-parents, and my own health, I have had to fight for the things I want most. I believe that there is a warrior in each of us, but that in our fight we must remain humble, and surrendered, in order to experience all that this life holds for us.
For me, the humble warrior I have become, is in large part to the people around me. Family is where I find my greatest purpose. I currently work as a chiropractic assistant in my husband's office, Five Point Chiropractic. While at home, Mama,is my favorite, and arguably, most important title. I love finding peace through time outside - working in our garden, walking in our woods, sitting by our pond, or just being outdoors with the people I love.
