Clary Gardens is hosting two fun events for those interested:
- Thursday, December 9th, 4-6p is our family-friendly: “Pinecone Painting Party”. Join us for an evening of family fun in the red Compton house at Clary Gardens! We will be creating pinecone crafts while enjoying some hot cocoa. Kids and adults can make their own woodland animals, angels, or miniature trees out of pine cones that have been collected from the gardens. Basic supplies will be provided- paint, pinecones, pipe cleaners, and googly eyes- but feel free to bring your own accents to decorate with! This is a drop-in event, so come anytime to participate and you can leave whenever you have completed your creations. This event is by donation. No RSVP necessary. *More pictures found on our Facebook page event :) - Next week, Thursday, December 16th, 5-7p is our adult-only “Rustic Photo Garland Workshop”. Get into the holiday spirit and join us in making a rustic photo garland with friends! We will provide the garland supplies, you provide the photos of family or friends. Each registrant will receive enough jute and fabric for a 6 ft garland, as well as 3 wood slices to apply photos (additional wood slices can be purchased for $3/per slice to add more photos to your garland). These personalized garlands would make great gifts for that hard-to-buy-for person on your list, or can just be a beautiful decoration for yourself! Cost: $25 per garland - Duration: 2 hours*This event is for adults only, so feel free to bring your own beverages and/or snacks.**RSVP by Monday, December 13th (Email events@clarygardens.org or Facebook Message is preferred).
