We are so excited that the weather is warming up! We have daffodils and tulips starting to come up... the birds are singing... bugs are starting to come out of hibernation. It's almost spring!

While we are waiting for Spring, take a look at our upcoming events! We cannot wait to share them with you!

THE GREAT GARLIC MUSTARD PULL
Garlic Mustard has taken over our woodlands! We need YOUR help to pull out this invasive species. Let's take back our Gardens! Come to the woodlands on March 29th from 1:00P.M.-2:00P.M. You'll get to go home with as much garlic mustard you can eat. We'll even throw in some recipes too! Bring your family and friends, and spend the morning with nature. We promise it will be a great time!
This event is hosted by Clary Gardens and Leadership Coshocton County.

TREKKING TYKES & DROP-IN STORYTIME
Calling all preschoolers! We want trekking tykes and their adventurous caretakers to join us for a small hike with yoga-infused movements on Fridays from 4/3-5/29starting at 10:00A.M. After our hike, we will meet in the Children's Garden for storytime from 10:30A.M.-11:00A.M. Members from our community will read a few books on nature and gardening themes. In the case of inclement weather, we will meet either under the tent or in the red house.

This program is free and open to the public. RSVP not necessary.

EGG SCRAMBLE
Clary Gardens is hosting an EGGcellent Easter event! Why should kids have all the fun? Everyone 21+ is invited to the gardens for an adult Easter egg hunt. There will be drinks, food, and awesome prizes.

We will be having two egg hunts on April 4th, each with a social hour before the scramble. The first one starts at 11:00A.M. (scramble starts at 12:00P.M.) and the second starts at 5:00P.M. (scramble starts at 6:00P.M.).

Egg Scramble tickets are $25 per person and include one drink (beer or wine) with ticket - Attendees will have the option to purchase more beverages and food at the event. CLICK HERE FOR TICKETS!

SHIITAKE MUSHROOM WORKSHOP
Join us for a shiitake mushroom workshop on April 7th from 12:00P.M.-1:00P.M. with special guest Adam Komar from Ohio Department of Natural Resources. During this workshop, you will learn the basics of mushroom growing at home. There will be a short presentation followed by a hands-on demonstration on how to prepare logs for inoculation. After the demonstration, Adam Komar will be available to answer any mycology questions you may have whether it be about foraging wild mushrooms or how to keep your mushrooms happy. This is will be a fun time for the mushroom novice and the mushroom enthusiast! This workshop is open to the public and free to attend. We hope to see you all there!

PLANT & SIP
Jump into summer with this fun make-n-take workshop on May 15 starting at 6:00P.M.! You will get to decorate a ceramic pot and plant a beautiful zinnia. Sip some wine and let your creative juices flow! Tickets are $20 and include a glass of wine, a snack, and all materials. Tickets are limited, and sales begin in April.

IMAGINE YOUR ADVENTURE
We are teaming up again with The Coshocton Public Library, The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, The Pomerene Center for the Arts, & Historic Roscoe Village for another summer of fun! Tuesdays starting on May 26th through July 24th from 10:00A.M.-11:00A.M., we invite kids ages 5-12 to learn about nature at Clary Gardens. We will be exploring Greek and Norse mythology and the connections these stories have to nature. There will be lots of hands-on activities, and lots of fun to be had! Space is limited, so please email us at events@clarygardens.org to RSVP. This program is $2 per child per week.
