Manon VanSchoyck (who brought us "Batty for Bats" in 2019) will be back with us, this time virtually. She will be discussing how Native Americans used bird feathers in every day life and how colors were a representation of different attributes. She will discuss the significance of "coup" feather, rewarded for acts of bravery and what these symbols represented. Live animals will be included.

**We'd like to make our own signage for several pollinator areas at Clary Gardens and we need YOUR help!

Join us in the tan house for a brainstorming and crafting session! Clary Gardens needs new fun and educational signage, and we would love to get the community involved. This is a drop-in event, so you can come and go as you please. All materials will be provided.

Succulent Pumpkin Centerpiece Workshop

Roscoe Village teamed up with Sprout Garden Center to bring you a fun fall workshop on September 26th from 5:30P.M.-7:30P.M.! Create your very own live pumpkin succulent centerpiece for your holiday table or fall decor display. $25 per person, cost includes all material. Crow Scarers At The Pomerene Center For the Arts

As you get into the fall spirit, build a scarecrow at the Pomerene Center for the Arts! On Mondays from 4:00P.M.-5:00P.M. from September 9-September 30 or Saturday morning 9-noon, Sept. 7, 14 or 21 join the Pom for an extra fun scarecrow building program. Clary Gardens, with the addition of the CVB, is expanding the scarecrow trail into a city-wide Scarecrow Town! Director Anne Cornell is offering a workshop for children grades kindergarten to sixth and for families to get creative and make their very own scarecrows. Registration is required.
